Wow … slightly rough start to this experiment, but poker is as poker does.
Lets see, 3 cash games and 4 tournaments (1 free) for a loss of $628 and Blackjack winnings of $560 for a net loss of $68 to my bankroll. I am going to add the blackjack winnings to my bankroll, since I believe that my bankroll management numbers were off. From what I understand, typical bankroll management advice is to never buyin for more than 5% of your bankroll at one session. Since most of my buyins are for about $100, I should have started with a bankroll of at least $2,000. Lesson learned… Adding the $560 to my original $1,200 would give me a starting bankroll of $1,760, which should be closer to a reasonable number. Current bankroll is at $1,132.
